What we collect

What you give us (name, photo, city, country, languages, age range, bio), what you share (messages, photos, voice notes, videos, posts), and basic technical data needed to run the app.

Why we use it

To provide the app, connect you with other women, keep it safe, and translate the limited content noted below.

Translation

Profile bios and notes from the Lingobelle team may be translated automatically by a third-party service. Private chats and posts are not translated.

Who helps us run it (our processors)

We store data with Supabase, translate some text with DeepL, power video calls with Daily, and send our own team email alerts with Resend. They process data on our instructions, not for their own purposes.

Who can see your things

Other members see your profile and what you post; your private chats and memory boxes are seen only by the people in them; our team may review content for safety and support.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and other rights under data protection law. Deleting your account from the app does what the Terms describe. For a full erasure of everything, including shared memory boxes, email admin@lingobelle.com.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. After deletion, your profile and account are removed; shared memory boxes remain with the friends you shared them with, unless you ask for a full erasure.

Where data is processed

Lingobelle is used worldwide and your data may be processed outside your country by us and our providers, with appropriate safeguards.

Children

Lingobelle is for women aged 18 and over, and is not intended for children.

Changes

We may update this notice and will tell you of significant changes.
